FG increases airport gate charges by 100%

The Nigerian government has increased the access fee for all vehicles seeking entrance into the airports The increase in the gate charge was made by the Federal  Airports Authority of Nigeria( FAAN) and will take effect on Thursday, September 1. FAAN in its notice said cars which normally paid N200 to gain access into the airports will now be mandated to pay N400 while buses, jeeps and Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs) will pay N600 against its former gate fee of N300.
